Why does the protocol matter?+
PD, PPS, AFC and brand-specific systems such as Xiaomi Turbo/HyperCharge, Infinix FastCharge, SUPERVOOC and FlashCharge describe how the phone and charger negotiate power. Two adapters with the same wattage can behave differently.
Will a higher-watt adapter force too much power?+
A compatible charger negotiates power with the phone. A higher rating does not mean the phone will consume that rating. The Finder still prioritizes the closest appropriate charger instead of recommending unnecessary wattage.
Why might Chargero ask me to confirm a match?+
If the phone specification is known but the exact adapter has not been reviewed strongly enough, the Finder labels it for confirmation instead of presenting a guess as an exact match.
